It is reported that rock wool is the most cost-effective and cheaper in class A insulation materials. At present, rock wool is mainly used for fire barriers in the building applications in our city. Because its thermal conductivity is close to that of benzene board, the thickness of the fire barrier during construction is exactly the same as that of benzene board, and the compatibility between the two joints is quite good. Experts from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said that rock wool is more suitable for fire protection renovation of existing building insulation. It is not necessary to dismantle all the benzene boards that have been constructed, just add fire isolation belts to the corresponding parts, and integration can be achieved during construction.
